Privacy policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Kivio is a pixel art app made by Bloomit Studio. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. The short version: your drawings stay on your device, and there is no account, no analytics and no ads.
Your projects stay on your device
Everything you draw is saved only on your device. The app never uploads your projects anywhere. They only leave your device when you choose to export, share or save them to a place you pick.
What never leaves your device
Your drawings, and the names of your projects, files and tags.
Your location, contacts, camera and microphone: the app doesn't use them.
The advertising identifier: the app doesn't use it.
There is no account, so you never sign in or give us your name or email address. There are no analytics, so the app doesn't track what you do or which screens you open.
Nothing is sent before you start
The first time you open the app, nothing is sent until you finish the welcome screen and tap Start drawing. That's where you choose whether to send crash reports.
Crash reports
When the app crashes, it can send a crash report so the bug can be found and fixed. A report includes:
What failed in the code and the time of the crash.
Technical details of the device and the app at that moment: device model, Android version, processor, free memory and storage, whether the device is rooted, app version, screen orientation and whether the app was open or in the background.
Random identifiers created for this installation and for each session, used to group reports. They aren't linked to your name or your Google account.
The size of the open canvas and how many frames and layers it has, never its content or name.
Errors that didn't close the app, such as an import or export that failed.
When crash reports are on, the app also sends a short signal each time it opens, so Crashlytics can count how many sessions ended without a crash. It carries the same technical details listed above, never your drawings or what you do in the app.
Crash reports are processed by Firebase Crashlytics, a service of Google LLC. Google keeps them for 90 days and then starts deleting them from its systems, including backups. Google explains what Crashlytics collects and how long it keeps it, and its privacy policy covers how Google handles this data.
You choose in Settings › About › Send crash reports:
On: reports are sent automatically.
Off: nothing is sent on its own. After a crash, the app asks you before sending that report. If you choose Don't send, it's deleted from your device.
Update check
When you open the app, it downloads a small file from kiviopixelart.com to know whether an update is needed. That request carries no information about you; like any website, the server only sees your IP address.
Purchases
Kivio Pro is sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment; the app only receives confirmation of what you bought so it can unlock it. We never see your card or payment details.
Files you open or save
The app only reads the files you choose to open or import, and only writes where you choose to save or export. It doesn't browse the rest of your storage.
If you write to us, for example with Send feedback, we receive your email address, your message and the details the app adds at the end: app version, Android version, device model, phone or tablet, and language. We use them only to reply and to improve the app, and we don't share them with anyone.
We keep your emails as a record of our conversation. You can ask us to delete them anytime by writing to contacto@kiviopixelart.com.
Children
Kivio is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Legal basis (EU and UK)
Crash reports: our legitimate interest in finding and fixing bugs. You can turn them off anytime in Settings › About.
Emails: our legitimate interest in replying to you and keeping a record of support.
Purchases: needed to give you what you bought.
If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Your choices and rights
Turn crash reports on or off anytime in Settings › About.
Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on your device.
To ask about, access or delete any information related to you, such as an email you sent us, write to contacto@kiviopixelart.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published in the app and at kiviopixelart.com/privacy, with a new date at the top.
